  1. I just read a book today that was copywrited in 1977. It steatd that the reason why people gain fat from such a switch in diet has to do with the body’s glucose conversion, namely that carbs are often transformed by the body into glucose as both the mind and the muscles when rebuilding require substansive amounts of glucose. Glucose can be obtained through either digesting glucose, or protein, or carbs, the latter two then get transformed into glucose if needed (and its best not to need glucose) now the problem is that people tend to think they should up their protein and their carbs while dropping their glucose/sugar levels, but fail to realise that if they do that the body will still create glucose to cover its shortage and the body needs no more than 1 gram of protein per day in short, I’d suggest upping your glucose before switching from low carb to low calorie so that you don’t force your body to have to change how its manufactuing its glucose
